These two wonderful humans invited me into their home to make homemade pasta while I documented their love (for pasta & for each other). It was so special to be able to capture a typical Tuesday night for Rachel and Scott – making pasta, pouring wine, and cooking in their first apartment together in Manhattan Beach, California.
Maybe cooking isn’t your guys’ thing, but your date photo session can be anything from a shared hobby to a new experience together. Whether it’s your favorite activity or something that’s brand new and exciting for both of you, documenting a real date night tends to bring out the biggest smiles and most candid and real moments. I’ve had couples ask me to join their rock climbing sessions, book a pottery class, take a trip to a lavender farm in wine country, and many more cute date ideas. For inspiration, you can check out several of my other blogs to see various kinds of date ideas and the photo memories they create.
No matter what you and your partner choose to do for the day, prepare to smile til your cheeks hurt. By adding some fun into my sessions, I haven’t had a single couple leave disappointed. Instead, I watch them leave their date photoshoot even more in love than when they arrived.
